Copyright & Terms of Use

From Stardust, published by Trip Star Studios. Version 2, effective 17 September 2026.

These terms are the agreement between you and Trip Star Studios (we, us) about your use of From Stardust (the game), in the Android app and in the browser. By installing or playing the game you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not play.

1. Copyright

© 2026 Trip Star Studios. All rights reserved.

The game — including its name, logo, design, code, artwork, visual effects, text and interface — is owned by Trip Star Studios and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The music and sound effects are owned by Trip Star Studios or used under licence from their creators. Open-source components included in the game are listed, with their licences, in Open Source Licences.

2. Trademarks

"From Stardust", "Trip Star Studios" and their logos are trademarks of Trip Star Studios. They may not be used without our written permission.

3. Your licence to play

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and play the game on devices you own or control, for your own private entertainment. The game is licensed to you, not sold, and all rights not expressly granted here are reserved.

4. What you may not do

We may end this licence if you break these terms in a way that is serious or repeated.

5. Adverts

The game is free to play and funded by adverts. Some appear on their own between attempts or after a level; others are reward videos, which play only when you choose to watch one in return for something in the game. Buying Remove Ads ends the advert breaks but leaves the reward videos available, so that nothing you have chosen to opt into is taken away. How advertising data is handled is set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. Purchases

Purchases in the game — Remove Ads and the paid skins — are one-time purchases made through Google Play and processed by Google under its own terms. Each grants you a licence to that item within the game; it is not a transfer of ownership, it has no cash value, and it cannot be transferred to another person or account.

A purchase is tied to the Google account that made it and is restored when you reinstall the game or sign in to that account on another device. Refunds are handled under Google Play's policies. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

7. Changes to the game

The game is developed over time. We may add, change or remove features, content and items, and we may stop supporting a version of the game or the game itself. Where we withdraw something you have paid for, we will handle it fairly and in line with Google Play's policies and the law.

8. No warranty

The game is provided "as is" and "as available". So far as the law allows, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any particular purpose.

9. Liability

So far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost progress or data, or for any loss that could not reasonably have been expected when you began playing. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country in which you live, and you may bring proceedings in its courts.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in substance, the version number and effective date above change with them, the new version is published on this page, and you are asked to read and accept it the next time you open the game.
